Ranch Horse Spectacular Clinic Day - Saturday Feb 18th! Learn from seasoned ranch horse competitors and trainers. Clinics are led by Rosie Cowley of Cowley Performance Horses and Nichole Payne of Nichole Payne Performance Horses! Open riding also available in main arena and on trail course!
Ranch Trail Clinic (12:00-2:00p): The clinicians will walk you through what judges are looking for in the ranch trail, help you with your problem areas and work on aspects of the Ranch Horse Spectacular trail course. Limited to 15 riders. Unlimited auditors. $75/rider
Ranch Riding, Rail & Conformation Clinic (3:00 - 6:00p): Clinicians will cover what judges are looking for in these classes, pattern placement and your specific problem areas. They will help you to ride rail and pattern classes effectively. They will also cover showing proficiently in ranch conformation class. Limited to 15 riders. Unlimited auditors. $95/rider
Auditors non-members $20 (includes all sessions). No spectators without auditor registration.
PVRA and WCRH current 2023 members free to audit.
Open Riding Schedule: Main Arena - 12:00-3:00p, Trail Course - 3:00 - sunset, Grounds fee $35, included with paid clinic registration

WCRH Class Awards:
Ties for class awards will be broken by score by a predetermined tie breaker, then second tie breaker and so on. If there is still a tie, a coin flip will occur.
Top Hand Champion Award: The Top Hand Champion is the rider with the most cumulative points for the Sunday show. Riders may ride multiple horses and in multiple divisions. The Top Hand Champion will be presented with a Top Hand Champion award (typically a belt buckle, saddle blanket or similar value). Ties for high point will be broken by number of first place placings, then second, then third, then fourth. If there is still a tie, it will be broken by a coin toss.
PLEASE NOTE: NO DAY HIGH POINT AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN ON THE DAY OF A SHOW. PLEASE ALLOW OFFICE STAFF NECESSARY TIME TO TABULATE POINTS AND PACK UP THE SHOW.

Each division entry includes the corresponding Ranch Rail, Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail class. Divisions for this show include:
4 Division High Point Buckles: Day high points in the following categories - Open, Amateur, Green Horse/Rider & Youth (18&U)! All classes in the divisions listed below to count. High point buckles are calculated by horse/rider combination.
Qualifying divisions:
- Open: Open division only
- Amateur: Amateur, Amateur Limited & Amateur Select divisions
- Green Horse &/or Rider: Green Horse WTL& WT; Green Rider divisions
- Youth: Short Stirrup (10&U), Youth (18&U) divisions
*Must show in all classes in at least one division to be eligible.
* WCRH reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value.
** This show is not connected with any other WCRH event or online show. The Top Hand award and Division High Points for this show will be calculated only off of points in this show to the rules listed on this page.

Pre-entry ends February 16th at 11:59pm. Late entries submitted February 17th or later will incur a $30 late fee/horse & rider combination. Show will be rescheduled in the event of rain.
Patterns will be published about a week before the show.
