Ranch Suitability is used for all Maturity & Futurity classes. It is a WCRH created class with a standard pattern combining Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail. Each rider will perform an abbreviated Ranch Trail pattern followed by an 8 maneuver Ranch Riding pattern. Exhibitors will be scored separately for the two portions of the class.
Ranch Work Team Challenge begins 5pm on Friday, 10/17. Open, Amateur & Youth Divisions with Buckles. $100/team. Teams of two judged on their ability to navigate simulated ranch tasks efficiently such as roping, trailer loading, fence building/repair, covering ground in the pasture, dragging calves to the branding fire, working gates, etc. Spectators welcome - food truck & bar.

The Ranch Horse Rendezvous is our annual year end event including a full day of clinics, 2-day weekend ranch horse show with divisions for all levels, Futurity & Maturity Day with futurities for 2 & under prospects, 4 & under and 5/6 yo horses as well as a maturities for horses 7& over, Rendezvous Dinner (Saturday) featuring a ranch riding freestyle competition, costume content, silent auction, live music, Cherie Vonada Gamblers Choice Ranch Trail Competition, new Ranch Work Team Challenge as well as nightly activities! Now also an AQHA Special Event! (AQHA classes run concurrent with WCRH all breed classes)

CRC has many options for stalls available but stalls are sold in blocks. Sponsors receive priority stalls. Nightly stalls are not available.
The Rich Group (Green Acres Ranch) also welcomes WCRH members attending the Ranch Horse Rendezvous looking for nightly stalling and dry camping options. This facility is about a two minute drive from CRC. Contact Caitlyn Showalter 951.534.6613 for Green Acres stalling options.
The Ranch Horse Rendezvous is open to all breeds of equines and all levels of riders plus offers AQHA points as a special event (classes run concurrent)!

Join us Thursday for the 3rd annual Cherie Vonada Memorial Gamblers Choice Ranch Trail Competition held in honor of our friend and WCRH judge. Cherie loved ranch trail and was a talented course designer.

Friday 10/17: Ranch Work Team Challenge - Join us for a great new event! In 2025 we offered the Ranch Work Team Challenge for the first time and it was a hit, so we decided to make a night of it! The Ranch Work Team Challenge begins 5pm on Friday, 10/17. We will offer Open, Amateur & Youth Divisions with Buckles & neck sashes to the Champions. $100/team. Teams of two are judged on their ability to navigate simulated ranch tasks efficiently such as roping, trailer loading, fence building/repair, covering ground in the pasture, dragging calves to the branding fire, working gates, etc.
Spectators are welcome and we will have food truck, a cash bar, Mike Scully & his band, and shopping with the Challenge as our main event.
Saturday 10/18: Rendezvous Costume Parade & Contest
Halloween is approaching! Come dressed to impress in your scariest, cutest, or most original costumes with your horse! Best overall $100 and best group costume prizes also!
Parade in covered arena preceeding freestyle competition immediately following show day. Approx. start time 5:30p. Free to participate, no pre-entry required. WCRH membership req’d. Spectators welcome.
Ranch Riding Freestyle Competition
Approx 5:30p in Covered Arena - Buckles to Open, Amateur & Youth Champions. Peoples’ Choice Trophy. Create your own pattern set to music. Costumes/props encouraged. Spectators welcome, cash bar. See rules here: Freestyle rules.
Saturday 10/18: Rendezvous Dinner featuring Bryan Gaylord and the Country Star Band! Starts around 7:00p, Catered dinner held after the Ranch Riding Freestyle and Costume Contest. Held at the CRC Western Town on the corner of Anza and De Portola. Come ready to bid on the Silent Auction and shop at Winchester Western. Ticketed event.
Join our talented judges, trainers and clinicians George & Sami Hernandez for a jam session around the bonfire starting at 6:30p. Everyone is encouraged to bring their guitar (or other instrument) and their singing voice for a fun time with two of our favorite people! WCRH will provide fried chicken, bring your favorite dish and a camping chair! Members only event.
Mike Scully and his band will kick off the night during the Ranch Work Team Challenge starting at 5p! There will be food trucks, an open bar, the Ranch Work Team Challenge in the covered arena and Mike & his band's soulful stylings! Free to public.
Join us in the CRC Western Town for live music from Recording Artist Brian Gaylord & the Country Star Band starting at 7pm! There will be catered BBQ dinner, silent auction and shopping at Winchester Western as well! Dinner tickets required.

Refer to the WCRH Rulebook (link at right) for a full listing of show rules. Supplemental, Rendezvous specific rules are listed below.
R1. Class fees are as listed on the showbill. $35/class pre-paid pre-entry, $40/class after entry deadline. There are no refunds for stalls, RV spots, dry camping, clinics or special event tickets. Scratches will receive a 100% refund up until the entry deadline (October 5th), minus $25 office fee. Between October 6th-10th , there will be a 50% refund for scratches with a vet or physician note. After October 10th, there will be no refunds. The only exception is that a 50% refund will be provided after the entry deadline with a vet or physician note. Please understand that we book venues, hire judges and order prizes/awards based on anticipated participation. If everyone were to be allowed to be refunded at the last moment, we would no longer be able to offer these shows. In the case of rescheduling due to weather or other unforeseen circumstance, registered competitors will have the choice to roll over to the new date or receive a full refund. In the case of show cancellation, competitors will receive a full refund.
R2. There will be no refund related to inclement weather, viral outbreak or other disaster unless your class or event is canceled by show management. Show management will modify the schedule of the show or event to move it out of the weather (between the hours of 7:00a and 12a as necessary).
R2. You may scratch via our online show system (Equiscribe) or replace the rider or horse for your entry by submitting the change to info@westcoastranchhorse.com or calling 951-595-7536. Entries are 100% transferable at the Rendezvous event. Please include rider name, horse name, class number and WCRH member number.
R3. In order to qualify for a division award, you must show in all of the classes in that division . Division awards are based on point total for all classes.
R4. The Top Hand award is awarded to the horse and rider with the most cumulative points according to the live show point schedule. Please see 'Ways to Win'.
