4 show buckle series! Best 3 out of 4 shows (by class) to count for points. Must show at at least 3 out of the 4 shows in order to be eligible for high point and division awards. Hospitality tent with snacks & drinks for exhibitors.

Awards

Class Awards:

October 30th show will have ribbons, champion prizes and ribbon raffle!
All Leadliners will be awarded a Champion ribbon/medal/trophy and a special gift!

Ties for class awards will be broken by score by a predetermined tie breaker, then second tie breaker and so on. If there is still a tie, a coin flip will occur.

Top Hand Award: The Top Hand award will be awarded to the rider with the most cumulative points in 8 classes (equivalent of two divisions). Top 8 placings to count. Riders may ride multiple horses and in multiple divisions, but must enter 8 classes total to qualify (example: all classes in Green Horse and Amateur division). Winners will be presented with Top Hand award, which is often a buckle or similar value. Ties for high point will be broken by number of first place placings, then second, then third, then fourth. If there is still a tie, it will be broken by a coin toss.

PLEASE NOTE: NO HIGH POINT AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN ON THE DAY OF A SHOW. PLEASE ALLOW OFFICE STAFF NECESSARY TIME TO TABULATE POINTS AND PACK UP THE SHOW.

Each division entry includes the corresponding Ranch Rail, Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail class. Divisions for this show include:

Green Rider (Walk Trot)

*Amateur and Amateur Select classes may combined if less than 8 entries total between the classes.

Division Awards:

Division Champion Award: Silver belt buckles will be awarded to the horse/rider combination with the highest point total in each division for the series. At least 5 riders must compete in a division for a buckle to be awarded. Otherwise, an alternate prize may be awarded or the exhibitor may supplement the cost of the buckle if desired. In order to be eligible to win a division buckle, you must enter Ranch Riding, Ranch Rail, Ranch Trail and Ranch Conformation in that division in 3 out of 4 SD series shows. Best 3 out of 4 shows by class to count. Buckles will be presented at a ceremony at the WCRH Year End banquet Dec 17th or may be mailed. Ties for high point will be broken by the number of first place placings, then second, then third, then fourth. If there is still a tie, it will be broken by a coin toss.

* WCRH reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value.

** This show is not connected with any other WCRH event or online show. The Top Hand award and High Points for this show will be calculated only off of points in this show to the rules listed on this page.

Social distancing must be practiced. Maintain six feet of distance from others at all times. This includes lining up for classes and waiting to enter the arena.
Please wear masks if you will be within 6 feet of any other person.

Pre-entries are strongly recommended and will expedite your registration process on the day of the event.

Please note new rules

If you bring a horse on the grounds that is not showing, you must pay a grounds fee and sign the waiver prior to unloading the horse. You will be issued a different color number so that we can keep track of who has checked in with the office. If you do not do this, you will be asked to leave the premises. Our insurance also requires that all riders at our events are members and that all riders sign the waiver.

Slide stop rundowns and roping are prohibited in the warm up areas as neither of these activities are included in our ranch horse shows and can be distracting/dangerous to other competitors.

If you empty manure, shavings, hay and/or trash in the parking lot, you will be subject to a $50 fee.
