In order to qualify for Ranch Horse Alliance approval, a show or show series must offer 3 out of 4 of the approved classes (ranch riding, ranch rail, ranch trail and ranch conformation). Divisions do not matter as qualification results from participation at 4 Ranch Horse Alliance approved shows regardless of division. At the West Coast Ranch Horse Championship show, qualified exhibitors can enter any divisions and classes for which they qualify.
If interested in Ranch Horse Alliance approval for your show, submit a show approval form with required attachment (link below). Fee is $50/show, max of $150/series (3 or more shows; unlimited number of shows). Approval fees help to purchase awards for the Championship show.
Upon show approval, approved show or show series will be listed on www.ranchhorsealliance.com will update members via social media.
Show management must submit a list of all rider and horses combinations and number of shows in which they participated in the qualification period (January 1st - September 8th) required Excel format periodically as requested and a final list by September 10th, 2026 . A $50 fee will be assessed if submitted after 5 days late.
Show management agrees upon show approval that Ranch Horse Alliance stafff (run by WCRH) may attend sanctioned show(s) and set up a 6' table near registration area/arena free of charge.
Show management agrees to provide printed flyers for West Coast Championship Show at all approved events. There is no fee to exhibitors to qualify.
Complete our online to request Ranch Horse Alliance Approval with the application fee. Your request will be reviewed to ensure the appropriate classes are offered and an approval email will be sent. In the event that approval cannot be granted, a refund will be initiated minus a $15 office fee.
